How exciting, my first post. Count down to Colombia begins! I will be using this BLOG to detail my travels throughout Colombia. We are leaving on June 27th so until then I won't write much, but be sure to check back once we leave to see how things are going.
I hope to show my students, friends & family that Colombia is more than just banana plants, coffee and a bad reputation for cocaine distribution. Colombia is my 2nd home. The people are kind and generous, the countryside is pristine and lush, and the FOOD...well, thank goodness walking is the most common form of transportation because otherwise I'd be a mess!
